Whole Dried BSFL for backyard Poultry and Birds

Whole dried Black Soldier Fly Larvae are a nutritious and highly palatable ingredient for birds and poultry alike. Easily incorporated into feed blends or fed by hand, they are a stimulating and natural feed source that improves the quality of eggs. 

This was recently confirmed by an ongoing Viridian customer – a long established national supplier of feed to backyard chicken owners.

Global research has demonstrated that including as little as 5% of these dried BSFL in poultry diets can have a positive impact on eggs. From stronger shells to eggs with richer coloured yolks and increased nutrient density – they are just better. 

Traditional feeds, although nutritionally formulated and balanced, may contain ingredients that would not necessarily exist in the wild. Chickens naturally want to eat insects – as the video clearly demonstrates, they are very happy. Owners are also happy as they clearly know what they are feeding their chickens.
